Disney World or Disneyland - Which Is Best for Your Personal Disney Experience?


Experiencing the wonderful world of Disney has become an iconic cultural endeavour the world over seeks to fulfil. Needless to say, where you choose to embark on your Disney pursuit has a major impact on how you will experience the happiest place on earth. The attractions leg of the Walt Disney Company is titled Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and has found homes in six different locations across the globe; Disneyland Paris, Disneyland California, Tokyo Disney, Hong Kong Disneyland, Walt Disney World Florida and, due to open in 2016, Shanghai Disney.

No matter where in the world you are travelling from, regardless of whether there happens to be a Disney park located in a country or state closer to your home, it is likely that, when seeking your Disney experience, you are Florida bound. Situated in the theme park capital of the world, Walt Disney World Florida is considered the ultimate Disney theme park, boasting an impressive 47 square miles of land and six theme parks; Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and the two water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.

Because Disney World is so huge and attracts crowds accordingly, most holidaymakers heading to Orlando with Disney tickets are prepared to dedicate a substantial amount of their holiday to the theme parks and in essence, have a theme park holiday.

Your Disney tickets allow you to tailor your Disney theme park visit to suit your holiday. It might be that you wish to combine your Disney theme park experience with other theme parks in Orlando. Disneyland, on the other hand, offers Walt Disney fans the chance to witness the first ever Disney attraction. However, if you don't have too much emotional attachment to Disney and aren't particularly keen on dedicating your entire holiday to theme parks, Disneyland tickets are the best way for you to gain your Disney experience.

Your Disneyland tickets grant you access to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, the two Disneyland parks the Californian resort features. Don't be disheartened by the size, bigger is not always better, particularly if you don't intend to spend your entire holiday in a Disney theme park. Your Disneyland tickets allow you to have just as much fun and experience the same magical atmosphere that you would at Disney World, just in a more compact space and in a much shorter length of time.

Visiting Disneyland leaves you time to explore the other features California has to offer. You won't be far off from the homes of the rich and famous, the iconic Hollywood sign, located up high in the Hollywood Hills, the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Orange County's iconic Malibu beach strip, a 21 mile long Pacific Coastline perfect for surfing, sunning, relaxing and swimming.

If you're after a complete theme park holiday Disney World Florida is your happiest place on earth. However, if you'd like to combine you're Disney park experience with some sightseeing and some much needed sun, sea and sand Disneyland California is definitely more ideal.
