How to Choose a Tablet PC

Are you going to buy a tablet PC, but don't know what to look for when choosing one. Learn something you need to know when choosing the best tablet PC now. 1. Decide what size screen you want for your tablet PC. They typically range from the small 7" screen to the large 13.3" screen. Keep in mind that bigger isn't always better or more expensive. Unlike with desktop monitors, tablet PC monitors are meant to be small.
2. What kind of utility are you looking for? The best price to performance ratio, or "bang for your buck" will probably fall near the middle or even on the low side of the price range. Avoid the most expensive tablet PCs unless you've got the money to burn. Set a budget, and check customer reviews to find the best deals.

3. Ask yourself what type of hard drive you want. Solid state disk (SSD) drives are quieter, faster, and produce less heat. Mechanical hard drives are bigger, and less expensive.

4. Choose a style that's right for you. Almost as important as features is style. You'll be stuck with some the tablet PC for a while, so make sure you like the way it looks.

5. Determine what kind of ports you want. Typical ports include Type I and II PC card slots, SD card reader, USB ports, VGA port, docking connector, microphone jack, and headphone jack.
