Manifestations of Fatigue


Feeling exhausted after work? This could be a sign of fatigue. It's actually tough to pinpoint what causes fatigue but there are many manifestations as to why it happens.

Fatigue is basically an extreme tiredness that every individual could experience. No one is excused! Studies shows that there are 3 areas in which cases of fatigue are shown. Let us talk and determine how fatigue causes are seen in each area.

Lifestyle Activities

Fatigue causes can be determined in terms of your lifestyle. It is often felt after doing arduous activities like exercising. Exercising is a very healthy activity, but overdoing it may lead to fatigue. There are certain cases where individual faint because of over exercise. Ensure you follow what your workout instructor told you to do because they know what is best for you. In order to avoid this kind of incident, always have a bottle of water in your bag. A bottle of water can instantly re-hydrate your body and replenish the water that was squeezed out from your sweat during workout. Also, do not skip breakfast, not only because it is the most important meal of the day but because most of the energy giving foods are present on the breakfast table. These are eggs, milk and bread. Energy giving foods are needed to energize your body and replenish lost energy from exercising.

Fatigue can be also manifested if you are having sleep problem. It's understandable that you are working hard for your family that is why you always do overtime but it is still your responsibility to take care of yourself for your family too. Ensure that you balance your work and your responsibility as the bread-winner of your family.

Psychological Struggle

This does not mean that you have to right away see a psychiatrist. Instead, this means that you have mental disturbances that may lead to a more serious psychological problem and eventually will need you to having fatigue. Among mental health issues in which you can experience fatigue are angst, despair, heartache and stress. These usually occur after experiencing heart-breaking situations like breakup and death of a loved one. This can't be solved instantly. It requires time to burst out the pain inside before you will feel aided. You need extreme piece of mind which can be acquired through sleeping in order to recover. Commonly, this kind of fatigue is called emotional fatigue because it involves emotional disturbances.

Medical Conditions

It is undeniable that most illness can weaken your body. If that happens, you will surely feel fatigue. Fatigue causes may also come from underlying condition of certain illness such as heart disease, insomnia, anemia, diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure and hyperthyroidism. It is important to establish a resolution to these medical conditions therefore seeing a doctor is advised. They are the right person to tell you why and how to fight fatigue causes by these conditions.

Fatigue causes cannot be obviously seen. However, identifying the triggers of your fatigue will help you determine its causes.
