Secrets of Good looking Skin and How to care for it

First appearance always creates good impression, your skin tells what and who you are. It is the desire of everyone to look beautiful and young but it is not by the clothes, shoes and jewelries you only put on but also how good and beautiful your skin looks. While our skin is a living organ that constantly regenerates itself, the right care can improve it's support, elasticity, and shine. And how do we attain this is by taking good care of our skin. The question now is how do we care for our skin, is it achievable? I can tell you categorically that it is attainable.
There are different types of skin:

1. Normal Skin: When skin is dry in winter, oily in summer it is considered normal. Normal skins are always normal to oil or normal to dry. Always wash your face with cleansers that are designed for your normal/normal-to skin type. Wipe an alcohol free, hydrating toner all over the face. Apply moisturizer more frequently to dry skin.

2. Dry Skin: A skin that has a strong tendency towards dehydration, lacks oil, is considered dry skin. In more extreme cases, dry skin lacks elasticity and can be extremely sensitive to the sun, wind, and cold temperatures. Wash your face once a day with a rich, creamy cleanser and warm water.
3. Oily Skin: Oily skin usually has a lot of shine to it very soon after cleansing and the pores are generally slightly enlarged. It is more prone to pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads than other skin types and is coarser in texture. Oily skin tends to attract more dirt than dry skin, so wash your face twice a day with a gentle non-foaming cleanser and warm water. Use an alcohol-free, hydrating toner to help remove additional residue. Oil blotting sheets through out the day can help control shine, and it takes as little as 3 minutes after lunch.

4. Combination Skin: Combination skin as the name implies is when some part of the skin is dry and other part oily. In essence a situation when there is an acne and a lot of oil in one area when the rest of the skin is generally not producing oil and dry. Two common examples are a dry skin with papular and pustular acne on the cheeks or a normal skin with inflamed papular and pustular acne in the chin and mouth area. Treatment: Tend to each area appropriately as described above. If the acne is severe, consult a dermatologist or esthetician.

The following measures can improve the texture of your skin and makes it look younger and beautiful.
1. Take enough water daily to soften your skin because water hydrates the skin and helps to regulate the oil gland.

2. Avoid sun damage to your skin; don't stay under the sun too long. Because it causes wrinkle on the skin, but if you are experiencing sunburned use Aloe vera Gel and natural Aloe Vera juice and apply it to the affected part. Aloe Vera is good for skin healing.

3. Scrub your skin gently to remove worn out dead cells but do not overclean/scrub because it can easily damage tender skin. So you must treat you skin gently, don't scratch it strongly.

4. Do not smoke, it is not good for your skin. Smoking narrows the blood vessels in the outer layer of the skin thereby reducing flow of blood to the outer layer. And once there is reduction in blood circulation to that part there will also be reduction in level of oxygen supplied to the outer layer.

5. Do not use harsh (medicated) soap except prescribed by your Doctor. Strong/harsh soap can remove the needed oil by the skin.

6. Avoid bleaching cream, because it wears out the outer layer that protect the inner layer of the skin, if it does the cells of the inner skin are expose to radiation/excess heat from the sun.
7. For the women, don't coat your face excessive foundation and if at all wash it out immediately before going to bed.

8. Always try to have a happy moment i.e. try to manage your stress, put smile on your face always because it does not only heal the heart but also relaxes the skin.

9. Moisturize your skin always with moisturizer if your skin is dry; you can use natural moisturizer like mixture of white egg, lemon, and grape for your dried skin. But don't over moisturize your skin it can clog the pores.
10. Always try to pat your face after washing it.

11. Only use cream/lotion that contain enough vitamin E

12. Eat Healthy Food:

i. Diet and style of life is a very strong determining factor to the way your skin will look. Eating balanced diet does not only make you healthy but also nourishes your skin and makes it beautiful and good looking.
ii. Fruits contain all the necessary vitamins that nourish your skin, fruits like Bell pepper, Avocado pear, strawberry, Lemons, Pawpaw, Apple, Peaches, Pineapple, oranges etc
The interesting part of these fruits is that they are used in some of the beauty products because the juice from these fruits cleanse, freshen and soften the skin. Products that also contain Mushrooms are good to the skin because it decrease inflammation and increase refreshes of the skin. Also products that contain coffee berry extract are still very good, for it protect the skin from cellular damage.
